Program
Special Sessions
These instructions are meant for those who would like to organise a
special session at the 13th International Conference on
Wind Engineering
1: A proposal to organise a special session has
to be sent to the organising committee of ICWE13 (info@icwe13.org),
including the topic, the name of the proposer, and if already known,
the names of the presenters in this session.
2: The organising committee decides whether this
proposal is accepted and will notify the session organiser as soon
as possible about the decision.
3: A special session has a total duration of
75 minutes. In general these sessions consist of 5 presentations of
15 minutes each. Session organisers who propose another schedule,
should send a request with a detailed set-up to the organising
committee of ICWE13..
4: The session organiser will have the following
tasks and responsibilities:
-
Invite presenters for this session.
-
Invite a session co-chair.
-
Notify the ICWE13 organisation about which
presenters and papers will be in the session.
-
Act as a reviewer for the papers in the session.
Another reviewer will be recruited from the International Board of
Reviewers.
-
The review process will be the same as that for
regular papers. The authors will be notified of the review
decision.
-
Act as the chairman of the session during
ICWE13 together with the co-chair.
5: The papers for the special session will be
submitted in the same way as regular papers. Authors will be asked
to indicate whether the paper belongs to a special session at the
time of submission.
6: After the papers of the session have been
successfully reviewed, and the session is completely filled, it will
be placed in the program. If, for some reason, the special session
can not be successfully completed, the submitted papers will be
treated as regular session papers and assigned to other sessions.
7: The session organisers of the accepted
sessions will be listed as members of the Scientific Advisory Board
in the conference proceedings and on the conference website. |
